Don’t get it twisted! Alaskan Bush People star Noah Brown, 26, recently tied the knot with the woman of his dreams, Rhain Alisha, and he confirmed that she’ll be taking his last name — despite reports otherwise. There’s been speculation that some of his loved ones refuse to accept her, but he’s letting the world know that she’s here to stay.

“Rhain is my wife and she is my wife for life and of course she will be taking my last name,” the reality star told Radar during a new interview. A few of Noah’s family members are reportedly “on the fence” about his blushing bride, especially after the drama between the newly dubbed Rhain Brown and Noah’s little sister Rain Brown. Supposedly, Noah’s sibling and leading lady don’t mesh well and Rain has allegedly accused Rhain of stealing her name.

However, Rhain’s mother tried to clear the air by explaining her side of the story. “She has been going by the name Rhain since she was 12 years old! Rhain was in junior high when she told me that she was no longer going to be called Ruth anymore,” Marilyn Merrill told Radar. “She told me that she wanted to be called Rhain, and I thought that it was a beautiful name choice. Her father and I, as well as everyone who knows her, has called her Rhain ever since.”

Noah and Rhain said their “I dos” during an intimate ceremony in Idaho on Aug. 15, shortly after having their parents meet for the first time. The couple reportedly exchanged their vows in front of about 25 people and they couldn’t be happier about embarking on this new chapter of life together. “It feels wonderful to be married. Rhain and I were engaged for over a year. It feels like this huge weight has been lifted,” Noah gushed. So exciting!
