Are Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou still together? The couple that fans love to hate returned for Season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, and things weren't exactly perfect in their relationship. Even though Nicole did move to Morocco to marry Azan — which was their only option if they wanted to be together since Azan's K-1 visa was denied — she is now back in the United States after calling off their wedding not once, but twice. Now, Nicole is dropping a major hint about the status of her relationship with Azan.
She took to her Instagram story shortly after TLC aired a one-hour special dedicated to her and Azan's nuptials, in which Nicole and Azan revealed that they called off their wedding indefinitely.
It seemed like Nicole was trying to tell fans that things are just fine between them despite the fact that she and Azan called off their wedding amid all of the obstacles they've faced.
First, Nicole and Azan had to postpone their wedding because she didn't bring the correct paperwork needed to apply for a marriage license in Morocco, she and Azan tried to continue with their wedding planning but they hit another roadblock. They realized that a Moroccan wedding would completely wipe the savings that Nicole brought with her from America, and instead of spending it on a venue, multiple wedding dresses, and catering, they thought it would be a better idea to invest their money in a beauty/makeup/skincare store near Azan's home in Morocco.
Nicole and Azan felt that it would be better for their future to invest in a business so that they could have an income to be able to save up for a traditional, lavish wedding ceremony and recepetion — but there was one big problem. Nicole's tourist visa only permitted her to be in the country for three months, and since Azan did not want to at least legally marry Nicole so that she could stay in Morocco and help him with the business, she had to go back to America.
The couple did not give a definite time frame as to when Nicole would return Morocco to marry Azan, but it seems like that is still their current plan.
Last month, Nicole's stepfather confirmed to Radar Online that she had returned to the US after calling off her wedding to Azan because "the timing wasn’t right," but that she may still be planning to return at some point to marry him. Even though Nicole was recently spotted in Florida without her ring, it seems like she used a recent Instagram post with Azan to set the record straight.
Nicole recently shared a cute photo of her with Azan, where both of them flashed their smiles in their selfie and she proclaimed her love for her man in the caption. "I love you forever," she wrote.
