‘My 600-lb Life’ Star June McCamey Flaunts Slimmer Figure After Getting Married

Congratulations are in order! My 600-lb Life star June McCamey revealed that words couldn’t even “describe how happy” she is with her weight loss progress on the new Where Are They Now? episode documenting her journey. The TLC alum not only made strides with her fitness goals, but she also tied the knot with her girlfriend, Mary, in Arkansas.

June’s peak weight was 590 pounds when she first appeared on season 4 of the show. Even though she dropped down to 242 by the end of her episode, June revealed in her follow-up that she started gaining weight ahead of her nuptials — getting up to 300 pounds for the first time in a while. However, June managed to stay focused and reach a new milestone before getting hitched. During her final weigh-in, it was announced that she dropped down to an impressive 221 pounds.

“It’s been a long process,” the blushing bride, 47, said on her update episode. “But now that I’m here, words can’t even come close to describing how happy I am.” June added, “Putting this [size 16] dress on today makes me feel like I’m really about to start my life with Mary. If you told me this was even possible when I started trying to get my life back, I wouldn’t have believed you.”

As expected, June was so excited to share new progress photos with her fans after the episode aired. “I can finally post my pictures,” she announced on July 3. Prior to that, the reality star shared a word of encouragement with others trying to overcome their own trials and tribulations in life.

“Here’s a winning strategy … ‘get back up again, and again.’ If you fall seven times, make sure you get back up eight times,” June wrote on June 25. “The faster you recover from setbacks, falls, and mistakes…the faster you’ll get to where God has ordained for you to go in life.”
