He’s leaving all of that drama behind him! Fans of TLC’s addictive reality TV series 90 Day Fiancé were sad to find out that franchise villain Mohamed Jbali won’t be returning for another season of the spin-off 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? But don’t worry, because we can still keep up with Danielle Mullins‘ ex-husband with his regular updates on Instagram. After finalizing his divorce from Danielle last year, Mohamed was able to keep his green card and he did not get deported — in fact, he’s actually living it up in Texas!

According to his most recent Instagram posts, Mohamed is spending time all over the state where he works as an Uber driver. Most recently, he was in Austin and he shared some photos he took while attending the Austin Food + Wine Festival. And lately, his pics have transcended the usual Instagram fodder. It looks like he’s getting pretty seriously into photography — and he’s producing some incredible work.

He’s been sharing gorgeous shots of the city. His whole stream is kind of like a love letter to Austin as he posts architecture, people out on the street, mouthwatering photos of food, and, of course, some adorable pups. “30 minutes at a dog park made me want to have one so bad,” he captioned an album of approximately one million sweet pooches. He even decided specifically which kind of dog he’d like, writing, “If I do I’ll get one like this.” For the record, Mohamed, we’re fully in support of that idea!

The former reality star’s Instagram has also been full of his photography, featuring sunsets, the light reflecting off buildings, and street art around town. We’re glad to see the 90 Day Fiancé star sharing more of his work — but we’re also just glad to see more from him in general. Earlier this year, he took a brief hiatus from social media, and shared a video clip explaining why he’d been MIA.

“I have been disappeared [sic] because I’ve been taking care of some stuff, fixing things in my life,” Mohamed shared on Instagram back in April. “I’m doing great, making some progress. Everything is working for me, I’m happy at this point. [I’ve been] working out, I lost a lot of weight, and I’m gaining muscles [sic]. Fixing some financial problems. Everything is working for me.”

Fans flooded the comments and said they were glad to see that Mohamed is doing well, but many of them are pretty upset that he won’t be returning to TV. “Glad you [are] doing well and glad [you] are still at United States! Miss not seeing you in 90 Day Fiancé,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “Dude, miss you on 90 Day Fiancé. You were my favorite, the [producers] really did you dirty. Happy that you are still living in the US, and all that was not for nothing.”

Since then, he’s also learned just how far shutting down the haters can go. “I don’t really swear or curse but my life change [sic] to the better since I started saying the ‘F’ word to negative people!” he wrote on one of his posts. Honestly, it’s not bad advice. Being rude is, well, rude, obviously, but knowing how to tune out people who have nothing to say but criticism isn’t a bad skill to have. Especially when you’ve got an ex like Danielle who can’t stop throwing shade.

We’re glad he’s learned how to focus on the positive things — and that he’s living somewhere he loves and that makes him happy. We can’t wait to see where things go for him from here. He may not be on our TVs anymore, but we’ll still be tuning in to his feed.
