Our thoughts are with the Graziano family during this difficult time. Former Mob Wives star Renee Graziano took to Instagram on Saturday, May 25, to announce that her father, Anthony “T.G” Graziano, had died. The former mobster passed away at 78 years old and the cause of his death is unknown.

“I can’t believe you’re gone, life will never be the same without you, my hero, my protector, my rock, my dad and the best man in the world. Thank you for loving me the way I am and for helping guide my son. We sure are going to miss you … Rest in peace, daddy,” Renee, 49, wrote in her Instagram tribute.

Renee’s fellow TV stars took to the comments to share their condolences. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice wrote, “So sorry 🙏🏻.” Renee’s former Mob Wives costar Alicia DiMichele wrote, “I’m so sorry for your loss Renee and your family. I know what a great man he was and how much he meant to all of you. Sending lots of love🙏🏼❤️.”

Anthony was a notorious New York City mobster who once served as the consigliere  Bonanno crime family. Anthony served time in prison for various charges over his mafia career. His most recent charge was in 2012 when he was indicted on racketeering charges after his former son-in-law and Renee’s ex-husband, Hector Pagan, Jr., started working with the Feds and recorded numerous conversations between him and Anthony.

The mobster took a plea and was sentenced to 19 months in prison, according to the New York Post. Anthony’s lawyer, Patrick Parrotta, asked the judge for leniency in Anthony’s sentence because he had been suffering from health problems like diabetes and bladder cancer. Anthony was released in 2013.

But even though Renee’s ex is the one that landed Anthony in his last prison sentence, Parrotta insisted that he did not blame his daughters.

“He does not hold what Hector did against his daughters,” Parrotta said. “There’s no estrangement, everybody’s talking.”
