Nearly two years ago, Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar welcomed the 20th kid to their brood when they became the legal guardians of their nephew Tyler Hutchins, 10. And less than a year later, in October 2017, the couple's attorney allegedly submitted an annual welfare check on the boy.

Luckily for the parents, the results were positive. "The current mental, physical, and social condition of the incapacitated person is: Tyler is a happy and healthy very attached and thriving nine-year-old," the filing read, according to Radar Online. "Tyler is currently living in Springdale, AR with his great aunt and uncle, James R. Duggar and Michelle A. Duggar, as well as their children." On top of that, the young boy reportedly has nearly $3,000 saved.

In Touch exclusively revealed back in November 2016 that Jim Bob and Michelle officially became Tyler's legal guardians after originally obtaining temporary guardianship two months prior. "Jim Bob and Michelle couldn’t be happier right now," a source shared with us at the time. "Jim Bob and Michelle have made the child feel right at home. They treat him like their own and he looks up to them as parents."

The reality stars have made it clear in the past that they've welcomed Tyler into their home with open arms. "Happy 9th birthday Tyler! We are so glad to have you in our home and a part of our family! Your bright smile and sweet spirit brings much joy to us all! Jackson loves having a ‘little brother/cousin’ to ride bikes and play with and read your bibles together [sic]. Our prayer is that each day you will seek God’s will for your life, and that God will use your life in a great way," the wrote for his birthday in February 2017.

"We pray over you that one of your first memory of verses from the Bible will be lived out through your life! Isaiah 4:21 'This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.' We love you, Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jim Bob," they added. What a happy fam!
