Speaking of the inspiration behind her bohemian designs, Melissa said, “I’ve always been obsessed with the drape and sex appeal of certain 1970s dresses. The beauty of the maxi dress is that you can throw it on and feel instantly pulled together.”

The former Gilmore Girls star previously opened up about her decision to make a line for women of all sizes.

“I think most women in the US are a 14. I think like 72 percent of women are a 14,” she said at the time. “So I think it’s a little insane if you’re in this business to tell your biggest section of clientele that you don’t want their business.”
