Melissa Gorga has Been With Teresa Giudice at ‘The Shore’ Waiting for Joe’s Deportation Verdict
They’re still waiting. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga got candid with In Touch exclusively about how she and her family are supporting sister-in-law and costar Teresa Guidice this summer. Her husband, Joe Giudice, and his legal fate as a resident in the United States is still undetermined in the courts.
“I think we just are waiting for the final answers right now. I mean we’ve all been down the shore at my beach house, so everyone’s kind of been there and the kids have been with us a lot too with the beach house,” the 40-year-old revealed. “So we’re all just down the shore for the summer. Um, and that’s it. There’s nothing anyone can do and we’re just waiting for answers.”
Teresa, 47, dealt with her husband, Joe, 47, being released from jail in March, after serving a 41-month sentence. Immediately after his release, he was moved into ICE custody on March 14. He pleaded guilty to multiple charges of fraud including mail, wire and bankruptcy back in March 2014.
Back in October 2018, a judge ordered that Joe would be deported to his native Italy after his release. The family was informed Joe’s deportation appeal was officially denied on April 11 — but on April 25, the judge granted him a “temporary administrative stay” until the court reviews his motion for a “stay of removal.”
Naturally, the family drama isn’t easy for Melissa but it seems as though working with RHOA star Porsha Williams and RHONY star Sonja Morgan on Fiber One’s new “Work Done” music video, to debut the brand’s new 70 calories bar, has helped take her mind off things.
“Honestly, if I had to think of a pair of girls that I would’ve wanted to work with, it would have been these two,” Porsha, 38, said. “Ya know, certain people from certain franchises you just relate to more.”
“Like I love Melissa, she’s fabulous, she’s a mom. She’s a wife. And then ya know, Sonja she’s just, everything. I’m like, who you would like to hang out with? It would be Sonja Morgan,” she continued. “So I just think that literally Fiber One hand picked us and they knew that they wanted to get some girls who were very open about who they were, who could speak very true to the lives we’ve lived.”
Amen, these ladies are clearly open books.
