According to TMZ, the actor—best known for playing Dr. Greg Pratt on ER and starring opposite Eminem in 8 Mile—spends approximately $11,600 monthly, while he only brings in $7,500 per month.

Additionally, he allegedly owes $1.2 million in back taxes, $50,000 in lawyer fees and $4,500 in back child support.

While he does have an upcoming role in this year’s much-anticipated flick Divergent, we doubt that’s going to do much to help the 39-year-old.

But he shouldn’t feel bad—it’s not that uncommon for someone in Hollywood to file for bankruptcy; in fact, these seven stars go to show it could happen to anyone!
