Cruising Around! Matthew Perry Steps Out With a Mystery Woman to Run Errands in L.A.

Taking care of the to-do list! Matthew Perry was spotted running errands with a mystery woman in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 11, just weeks after In Touch broke the news the actor split from his girlfriend Molly Hurwitz. The Friends alum and his gal pal stepped out of their car together and looked ready to hit the shops.

Perry kept a low profile while spending time with his friend, rocking a black hat and comfortable attire for his trip. The screenwriter, 50, appears to have the same sense of style as the brunette since both were clad in plaid button-up shirts.

Now that L.A. is starting to open up following the lockdown, the actor has been stepping out more often. On May 18, he was spotted unwinding with a smoke break. During his afternoon stroll, Perry appeared to be deep in conversation with another friend while carrying a lighter and water bottle with him.

Prior to that, he was seen outside of his home on April 26, wearing a face mask with headphones around his neck as he took a break from quarantine. 

On May 1, In Touch exclusively revealed the star and Hurwitz split after two years of dating. It appears he has been leaning on his loved ones in the wake of his breakup from the talent manager. 

The performer is still getting used to the single life after finding “much-needed” stability with his ex, a source exclusively told In Touch. After their romance, “it just wasn’t working anymore,” the insider noted about why they decided to part ways. Luckily, “it was very amicable.”

Perry is known for leading a private life outside of work, so it was a pleasant surprise to fans when he officially joined Instagram in February after teasing “big news” on his Twitter account. “Finally!!! Yay!! Can’t believe my eyes MY EYES,” his former Friends costar Lisa Kudrow captioned a throwback photo while reacting to him being on the platform. “Welcome to Instagram @mattyperry4 #friendsforlife.”

More recently, she dished about their highly anticipated reunion special which was delayed amid the coronavirus pandemic. “We want people to know: it’s not a scripted episode,” she told Entertainment Weekly about what viewers can expect. “It’s just us, reminiscing. Talking how we haven’t been in the same room for anyone to see us in 20 years — or more now.”
