Disgraced former Today host, Matt Lauer and estranged wife Annette Roque have not made a divorce announcement yet, a source tells In Touch, due to negotiations over money.
The source also confirms to In Touch the couple have a prenup. “Annette could end up with half of everything,” says a second source.
Matt, who’s estimated to be worth $100 million and made $25 million a year at NBC, has already unloaded their NYC apartment for $7.35 million. Their $36.5 million Hamptons mansion is still for sale.
But the biggest blow to the disgraced former anchor will be if his children, Jack, 16, Romy, 14, and Thijs, 11, pull away from him. “Matt’s afraid Annette will reveal things she never has before and that his kids will lose respect for him,” the second source tells In Touch. “This is his nightmare.”
