Disgraced TV host Matt Lauer continues to be shunned by his former Today show family one year after his sexual harassment scandal made headlines. Today, Dec. 14, marked a big milestone for Al Roker, who was celebrating his 40-year anniversary at NBC and according to a new report, Matt is allegedly banned from this party and those to follow.

“For a decade the show promoted Al and Matt as brothers, best, one big happy family,” a source told Radar. “Now it’s awkward that they cannot invite ‘dad’ back to the family celebrations.” Matt was fired from his position in November 2017, after several women broke their silence to accuse him of “inappropriate sexual behavior” in and outside of the workplace.

Since then, Matt hasn’t been included in any events with the network. “There was discussion of Matt doing a video message, but executives cut that idea down,” the source told Radar, before adding, “the strategy is simple: to pretend Matt never existed.”

In addition to losing his prestigious job at NBC, Matt is reportedly also in the process of losing his wife Annette Roque. The 60-year-old was allegedly kicked out of their marital home just two months ago and most recently, he was photographed spending time by himself in the Hamptons. Eyewitnesses exclusively revealed to In Touch that it seems like all of the stress in Matt’s life is taking a toll on him.

“He looked very sick and rundown,” the source told In Touch exclusively. “There have been talks about how he’s trying for a comeback, but he would never be able to be on television now with the way he looks. It would shock the public. It’s really awful because he’s clearly not taking good care of himself. He kept his head down and looked like he was trying to avoid conversation with anybody.”
