Is their relationship over before it started? Fans were reintroduced to two familiar couples on the Season 2 premiere of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, and they were also introduced to three new ones. But there are two more couples that viewers will get to know later in the season, and there’s already a scandal brewing for one of them in particular — Marta and Daya — according to a 90 Day Fiancé insider.

“The biggest hot subject is the mystery stripper girl that is not currently on the first episode [and] not listed on the summaries for the first five episodes,” the insider exclusively revealed to In Touch. “She wasn’t even at the tell-all and she didn’t even make it out of the country because he never wrote her a letter inviting her.”

The source is referring to Marta, a 30-year-old stripper and mother-of-two from Milwaukee who had been romantically involved with Daya, a 26-year-old man from Algeria, for about a year, according to their TLC cast bio. Daya had sent Marta a message and they hit it off despite the fact that there was a language barrier between them — Daya does not speak English — but that’s not the only obstacle they faced.

Since Daya is from a strict and religious Muslim family, Marta will have to win them over. Even though Marta and Daya refer to each other as “husband” and “wife,” it seems like Daya’s family will have a hard time accepting his relationship with Marta because of her occupation — and it might have been enough to end their relationship before they were able to meet in person.

Marta did not even have a chance to travel to Algeria because, according to the Algerian Embassy‘s official site, travelers will need to obtain an “invitation letter signed and legalized at a local city hall” from their Algerian host in order to obtain a tourist visa to enter the country — and the insider revealed that Marta never received one from Daya.

“She didn’t film on the tell-all, but they supposedly are going to try to squeeze her in somehow,” the insider explained. “It’s a big mess — the whole thing with her is a big mess.” Fans will just have to tune in to the rest of the season to find out how this all plays out!

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on TLC.
