Married At First Sight Season 8: Meet The Couples From Philadelphia

There’s still a few months left to wait, but Married at First Sight will be back sooner than you think. With Season 8 premiering on Tuesday, Jan. 1, a whole new crew of couples are coming your way, and this time they’re from Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love. Tune in to Lifetime starting at 8 p.m. for the show’s matchmaking special, followed by a two-hour season premiere. But first, meet the couples who are going to be tying the knot within 10 seconds of meeting — and judge for yourself which couples will make things work, draw up the divorce papers right away, or just straight-up make for some incredible TV. Meet Will Guess and Jasmine McGriff.

29-year-old Jasmine’s parents have been married for 17 years and together even longer, and her family is close. As a homeowner and with work going great, she’s the total package — she just needs a husband to tie it all together. Will feels pretty much the same. The 37-year-old has been ready to be married for a while now, and is the last one of his friends to tie the knot. Family is important to him, and he’s hoping that he and his new bride can form the perfect unit.

Meet Luke Cuccurullo and Kate Sisk.

Last year, Kate’s parents’ divorce shook the foundation she’d been building her life on. But though it briefly made her a bit of a cynic about love, the 27-year-old is taking it as a learning experience to figure out what she wants and doesn’t want in her own relationship. Luke also knows what it’s like to be a child of divorce, though his parents split when he was young. The 30-year-old is hoping that the show can help him find the one, because he’s not looking to settle, and he wants a partner to join him as he cooks in the kitchen and gets his adrenaline pumping while skydiving.

Meet Keith Dewar and Kristine Killingsworth.

Keith’s parents were never together, but his grandmother raised him and he learned how important it is not to play with someone’s feelings. Instead, the 29-year-old is looking for his equal in all things — especially teamwork and emotional support. On the other hand, Kristine’s parents have been together for 35 years, and she’s looking for that same happiness. The 28-year-old is comfortable with herself and has overcome her insecurities to be the confident woman she is now, but she wants someone to share her life with.

Meet AJ Vollmoeller and Stephanie Sersen.

AJ’s parents are high-school sweethearts, so marrying someone at first sight is going to be a big adjustment. Now that he’s built his business, though, he’s ready to focus on romance, and the 37-year-old wants someone who can keep up with his exciting lifestyle. Stephanie is also looking to emulate her parents’ 30-year marriage and find the perfect husband to travel the world with her. The 35-year-old wants to find her teammate, because she’s all about family.
