Mark Salling’s Ex Says He Was Attracted to Her Because She Appeared Younger Than She Was
It’s been just one week since we learned of the suicide of Mark Salling, who took his own life while awaiting a sentence for charges related to child pornography; since then, we’ve learned more about his troubled, isolated life out of the spotlight.
His ex-girlfriend Aurelie Wynn opened up to Radar, telling the gossip site that he used to routinely have her dress in children’s clothes because of her small physique — alleging that her small frame is part of why he was attracted to her. She said that during their 2012 affair, he would demand they have sex “at least three times a week.” She continued, “Back then, I looked really, really young. I always did the 18 and younger acting jobs, I had no boobs at all. My body was like that of a 12-year-old girl or boy… I look more curvaceous now and I’ve since had a boob job.” She added that she had heard that it wasn’t unusual that he was drawn to women who appeared to be younger than they were.
Following his initial 2015 arrest, police allegedly found more than 50,000 child pornography images on a computer that belonged to the fallen Glee star. Ahead of his death, he had entered a plea deal and was awaiting his sentencing, which would involve anywhere between four to seven years behind bars.
Shortly after his death was reported, it was confirmed to be a suicide, with the official cause of death listed as “asphyxia by hanging.” He was expected to be sentenced in his child pornography case in March.
Despite his criminal record, he was mourned by fans and remembered positively by his Glee co-stars. “It’s been tough. He was a troubled, troubled guy, and he always way,” Jane Lynch told Us Weekly after Mark’s passing. “This is a very sad end to it, but I know that he’s at peace now. He’s in the arms of a beneficent force.”
