No shocker here! One week after Ryan Edwards was arrested for violating his probation, Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout got a protective order for herself and her family. At a hearing on April 2, the judge decided to uphold the order until at least their next hearing on May 21, according to Radar.

According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Maci and her husband, Taylor McKinney filed for orders of protection last week, listing themselves and their kids, including Jayde, Bentley, and Maverick. This comes after claiming that Ryan was threatening them, doing drugs, and posing a danger to her dogs in the court docs.

Ryan will not be allowed to come into contact with the family, including his 10-year-old son, and he can’t go to their home or work places. If he violates the court order, he will be arrested and could face up to 11 months and 29 days in jail. Maci did not name Ryan’s pregnant wife Mackenzie Standifer in the court papers.

The ruling comes one week after Ryan, 30, was arrested on charges related to possession of heroin and was held on $5,000 bond. Shortly after his arrest, his wife Mackenzie defended her troubled husband, telling Radar Online, “Possession of heroin was the original charge from April before he went to rehab. Part of his case was he had to be booked, everything is fine.” She also denied he was on drugs again, adding, “He took a drug test yesterday [March 27] and he passed.”

Ryan’s arrest also came one day after the couple announced they were expecting their first child together. Mackenzie showed TM producers the positive pregnancy tests while cameras were rolling on the MTV series, and she looked beyond excited.

However, along with his most recent troubles with the law, Mackenzie also has to worry about Ryan’s cheating. He is now being accused of using Tinder to meet girls — after learning about his wife’s pregnancy. But everything is fine, right?
