On Monday night, Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood came back for Season 5 with a vengeance. In the first episode, we already saw plenty of drama as K. Michelle and Lyrica Anderson had it out and Ray J and Princess Love tried to keep things together, but this season is only going to get crazier. We talked to a couple of the show’s stars to get an exclusive look at what’s going down in the upcoming episodes — and what it’s really like juggling fame, work, and frenemies in Hollywood. Watch the clip above to see what stars Ray J, Brooke Valentine, A1 Bentley, Moniece Slaughter, and Nikki Mudarris had to say.

While Ray J dished on what it’s like finding love on-air — and then fighting to keep it — Brooke opened up about what her experience has been like joining the show. And we don’t just mean making new and rediscovering old relationships with her cast members, we mean like just trying to go to the grocery store and having someone ask you about your sex life. Yeah, she’s not messing around. And as a new member of the main cast — she was supporting last season — she’s ready to bring the heat.

IRL, though, we’ve already seen how some of this season’s drama turns out. Which is to say that Ray J and Princess welcomed their baby girl back in May. Her name is Melody Love Norwood, and, duh, she’s exactly as cute as she sounds. But that doesn’t mean everything is all marital bliss in their household. There are still some bumps in the road before they get to that particular happy ending. Even after all that, taking care of a baby and raising a child is hardly a walk in the park. But we’re sure we’ll see both the good and the bad on screen as we tune in this season.
