‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ Star Benzino’s Baby Mama, Althea Eaton, Arrested for Battery

The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Benzino's baby mama, Althea Eaton, was arrested for misdemeanor battery after she smacked him in front of law enforcement. TMZ is reporting that the LA police department was called to Althea's home in San Fernando Valley on Sunday night over a domestic fight. She allegedly wanted Benzino off of her property and he wasn't leaving.

TMZ said police officers who turned up at the house tried to settle things, but it didn't work and Althea struck Benzino in the head. She was immediately booked, set on a $20,000 bail, and released the next morning. It's unclear what started the dispute but the couple has had a pretty rocky romance throughout the years.

The 51-year-old record producer was caught cheating on Althea and it was made public in May 2017. Paparazzi caught up with him while he trailed behind Althea leaving Catch LA and can be heard saying that "everyone deserves a second chance." But she wasn't having it and exposed him for trying to buy her jewelry to smooth things over. She said he's "got to start all over again!"

Benzino owned up to his wrongdoings for the cameras and said, "It makes sense. It’s alright. She’s worth it. I love her. I f–ked up and I want to make it up to her…It wasn’t worth it. I’ve never regretted anything in my life, but that. She knows I love her. I don’t want to be with anyone else." The couple shares one son together. There's no word yet on the couple's relationship status after the arrest.
