Louis Tomlinson Breaks Silence Following Sister Félicité’s Tragic Death and Thanks Fans for ‘Their Lovely Words’
Moving on. Louis Tomlinson broke his silence for the first time following the death of his sister Félicité on Wednesday, April 17. “Just wanted to thank everyone for their lovely words over the past couple of weeks,” he wrote on Twitter. “Back in the studio today to vocal something I wrote a few months ago. Sending you all loads of love x.”
Of course, his fans couldn’t help but support the 27-year-old. One person wrote, “Love you so much, can’t wait to hear what you’ve been working on!” while another echoed, “So proud of you as always, Louis. All the love in the world.” A third person chimed in, writing, “@Louis_Tomlinson you know we will always wait for you. Take your time, no need to rush. Don’t worry about us too much. We’re ready when you’re ready. Love you x.”

Félicité passed away at the young age of 18 on March 13, the singer’s rep confirmed to In Touch at the time. The model was reportedly found dead at her studio apartment in West London after suffering a heart attack. Someone in the flat supposedly called for an ambulance, and there were “extensive” efforts to save her life. Unfortunately, paramedics tried to bring her back to life, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Just two years ago, the former boy band member’s mother, Johannah, died after a long battle with leukemia at just 43 years old. Recently, Louis recorded a song called “Two of Us,” where he got candid with his fans about his grief and trauma.
“You’ll never know how much I miss you / The day that they took you, I wish it was me instead,” read some of the lyrics. “But you once told me don’t give up / You can do it day by day / And diamonds they don’t turn to dust or fade away.”
Lottie Tomlinson also wrote a heartfelt note on Instagram about her sister five days after her death on March 19. “My Fizzy, my baby sister, my best friend,” she wrote at the time. “I’m incomplete without you, I’m empty. I can’t picture my life without you. I wish we could have lived life together for a little longer.”
She added, “Mama needed you and you needed her, you’re finally together again. I love you always, Dotty x.”
We are sending our love to Louis’s family during this tough time.
