‘Little People, Big World’ Star Audrey Roloff Mommy-Shamed for Covering Her Baby in Wipes
Yikes. Audrey Roloff is being mommy-shamed yet again after she posted a photo of her newborn daughter, Ember, covered in packs of baby wipes. It wasn’t long before the Little People, Big World star was mercilessly attacked by fans on social media. Learn more in the video below!
Of course, this isn’t the first time Audrey, 26 — who welcomed Ember in September with husband Jeremy Roloff — has fallen victim to the parenting police. Last month, she was criticized for letting her daughter wear brown tights. (No, we’re not kidding.)
“She’s cute but not a fan of the outfit. Creepy brown tights. Why not a colorful beautiful dress!” one fan wrote, slamming Ember’s ensemble, while another commented, “OMG what’s with the ugly brown leggings… You need to hang with other moms to see how they dress their kids.”
Aside from the hate she’s received from mommy shamers, Audrey has previously explained how motherhood hasn’t been as easy as she had hoped. “I won’t sugarcoat it… These past two weeks have been HARD,” the redheaded beauty — who suffered from mastitis and postpartum depression — wrote on Instagram. “The first 24 hours with Ember were bliss, but after that it was as if I went back into labor again… I was well prepared for the pain and suffering that comes with childbirth, but I was not prepared for the pain and suffering that comes afterwards.”
Despite her not-so-smooth transition into parenthood, Audrey has also found the joy in raising a little one. She frequently takes to social media to share Ember’s latest milestones, such as her adorable trips to the Roloff Farm pumpkin patch.
