Britney Spears is worth millions, but it didn’t stop her from helping herself! Most famously, she was caught by the paparazzi walking out of a gas station with a lighter—and taunting them by sarcastically saying, “I stole something, oh, I’m bad!”

Another incident occurred when she fought with a sex shop staffer for not letting her try on underwear—and responded by snatching a wig. Brit also once left a Fred Segal shop, and conveniently “forgot” to pay for the shirt she was trying on.

Lindsay Lohan

In February 2011, Lindsay Lohan was accused of stealing a necklace worth $2,500 from a Venice, Calif. jewelry shop. At the time, she claimed she was loaned the jewels as part of a celebrity loan program, but the shop had no record of the policy.

She pled not guilty to the charges of felony grand theft, and was forced to take court-mandated shoplifting classes and complete several hours of community service.

Winona Ryder

Item(s) Stolen: $5,500 Worth of Designer Clothing and Accessories

No high-profile shoplifting case drew as much attention as Winona Ryder’s 2001 arrest, which came after she was caught shoplifting $5,500 worth of designer goods from Saks Fifth Avenue.

She was later convicted of grand theft felony and vandalism and was ultimately given three years of probation and 480 hours of court-mandated community service. Additionally, she had to pay back the department store in restitution and complete psychological and drug counseling.

Megan Fox

Long before she was an action star and a mother, Megan Fox was a rebellious teenager. She acted on her rebellious ways by stealing a $7 lipgloss from Wal-Mart, resulting in a life-long ban from the mega-store.

On Monday, June 30, WWE Diva Emma was busted when she tried to steal a red iPad mini “swivel” case from Wal-Mart in Hartford, Conn.

She was promptly fired, but after working out a plea deal, WWE rehired Emma just two hours after she was given the boot.
