So heartbreaking. Leah Messer updated fans about her daughter's struggles with muscular dystrophy, during an emotional new episode of Teen Mom 2 which aired on July 3. Aliannah's teachers reached out to Leah and Corey Simms to discuss her health issues, since they were becoming more noticable at school. Sadly, she was falling asleep in class and on her bus ride home.

Leah addressed how Ali's "really struggling" due to the rare form of the disease, which was never seen in children before Ali. The reality star also noted how her daughter said her legs were tingling, and it broke Leah's heart to see Ali in constant pain. Leah added, “A lot of s–t is happening at once with her and it’s scary. It’s scary.” Leah and Corey's sweet daughter was diagnosed with Titin's muscular dystrophy after birth and she is still learning to cope with it.

The mother-of-three has been very open about Ali's degenerative disease and she's continued to be her daughter's biggest supporter. Over time, Ali will lose the function of many of her muscles and it's impacted her daily life. "As I’m doing Ali girls makeup she looks at me and says. 'Mom, what’s it like to see with two eyes?'” Leah tweeted on April 4, alongside a crying emoji.

Aside from being a rock for her daughter Ali, Leah also enjoyed a family outing with her ex-husband Jeremy Calvert on last night's episode. “I’m glad I got to take you and Addie out for an evening,” Jeremy said. Even though Jeremy is still on the show now, he recently confirmed he won't be returning for next season. Luckily, fans are just glad to see Leah and her loved ones doing their best to stay positive!
