Laura Prepon and Ex Ben Foster Selling $4.5 Million Nashville Mansion Amid Bitter Divorce

Laura Prepon and her estranged husband, Ben Foster, agreed neither wants to keep the Nashville estate they purchased before they split, and they are unloading it as part of their divorce, In Touch can exclusively report.

Laura, 45, and Ben, 44, informed the court they will be listing the home for $4.5 million. The actors agreed on a real estate agent, according to the filing.

In addition, they both will continue to make all the mortgage, taxes and insurance payments on the former marital residence pending the closing on the sale of the residence.

Per their deal, the gross proceeds of the sale will be used to pay off the mortgage and closing costs.

From the remaining net proceeds, Laura will first be paid up to $977,987.

Any remaining net proceeds will be split equally between the parties.

“If the proceeds do not equal $977,987, [Laura] shall receive 100 percent of the proceeds and neither party shall have any further claims against the other,” the filing read.

The agreement comes after Ben proposed selling the home now to take “advantage of prime spring selling season.”

According to property records obtained by In Touch, the home in question was purchased with an LLC. The home has yet to hit the market.

The previous listing boasted that the five-bedroom, seven-bathroom, 6,170 square foot estate came with separate vanities, a large soaking tub, luxury kitchen appliances, two utility rooms, and a four-car garage.

The real estate listing shows the home was purchased in March 2024 for $3,995,000. Laura and Ben would turn a six-figure profit if sold at their asking price.

As In Touch previously reported, Ben filed for divorce from Laura on September 9, 2024, after six years of marriage.

He initially claimed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Earlier this month, as In Touch first reported, Ben filed an amended petition which added new grounds for divorce.

Ben’s lawyer wrote, “[Ben] would respectfully show that [Laura] has been guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conduct (i.e.; inappropriate marital conduct) towards [Ben] … which renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.”

The actor asked the court to determine a custody schedule and the amount of child support he will pay for their two children: a daughter named Ella and a second child whose name they have not revealed.

Laura denied Ben’s claims and slammed him in her own filing.

The actress’ lawyer Larry Hayes Jr. argued, “[Laura] asserts the affirmative defense to any allegations brought against her that the ill conduct of [Ben] was a justifiable cause for any conduct complained of against her and [Laura] therefore requests that this court dismiss [Ben’s] cause of action for divorce.”

Laura filed a counter-complaint for divorce accusing Ben of “cruel and inhumane treatment or conduct.” Laura, who previously accused Ben of having issues with alcohol, which he denied, claimed Ben was guilty of “habitual drunkenness” which she believes entitles her to a divorce.

Ben’s lawyer, Rose Palermo, previously told In Touch about Laura’s claims.

“Laura Prepon’s filing is the definition of falsehood and a disturbing fiction,” Rose said. Ben also denied he ever had a problem with alcohol in response.

In her new filing, Laura asked that she be “designated the primary residential parent” of their kids and child support. A judge has yet to rule.
