Laura Prepon claims estranged husband, Ben Foster, listed the wrong date of separation in his divorce filing, In Touch can exclusively report.
In his divorce petition, Ben, 44, listed the date of marriage as May 25, 2018. He said the date of separation was September 9, 2023.
However, in her response to the divorce filed on Thursday, November 14, Laura disputed the date and clarified that their date of separation was in fact September 9, 2024.
Laura agreed with Ben’s claim the marriage was over due to irreconcilable differences and that they were unable to live together “successfully as husband and wife.”

As In Touch previously reported, Ben filed for divorce from Laura on September 9 after six years of marriage.
Ben had a process server Laura personally serve the actress with his divorce petition on September 13.
In his divorce filing, Ben listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. The actor said they had been living in Nashville. He said that the parties have suffered irreconcilable differences and are “unable to live together successfully as Husband and Wife.”
Ben explained that they signed a prenuptial agreement before walking down the aisle. His petition requested that the court “make an equitable division of the marital assets and debts based on the terms of the parties’ prenuptial agreement.”
The actor also asked that each party pay their own legal bills.
The actor hired powerhouse attorney Rose Palermo to represent him in the case. Rose has previously represented Billy Ray Cyrus in his split from Firerose, Kristin Cavallari in her breakup from ex-NFL star Jay Cutler, and countless other celebrities in the Nashville area.

Laura hired a local attorney to represent her in the matter. Laura has yet to speak about the split publicly.
Ben and Laura started dating in July 2016. They got engaged a few months later. They had a daughter named Ella the following year. In February 2020, the duo had a second child whose name they never revealed.
Laura explaiend their decision, “We make all those decisions as a family because we’re in the public eye. So whenever we do something like that, we have a conversation about it first and make sure that we’re comfortable with it.”
Back in 2021, Laura spoke out about her decision to leave the Church of Scientology.
“I’m no longer practicing Scientology,” the actress told People.
“I’ve always been very open-minded, even since I was a child. I was raised Catholic and Jewish. I’ve prayed in churches, meditated in temples. I’ve studied Chinese meridian theory,” she said.
Laura added, “I haven’t practiced Scientology in close to five years and it’s no longer part of my life.” Ben was never a member of the church, according to the outlet.
At the time, she said, “We meditate daily and I’m really liking it … because it’s something that helps me to hear my own voice and it’s something we can do together.”
