Lance Bass Watches the 2017 Oscars From the Hospital

Lance Bass wouldn't let anything get in the way of him watching the 2017 Oscars — not even a trip to the hospital to have his appendix removed!

The former boy-bander, 37, shared this bedridden photo from Sunday night, and we're sure this wasn't his ideal way to celebrate one of Hollywood's biggest nights.

"Well this day took a turn. I woke up to the worst stomach pains. A few hours later, I'm one appendix lighter! Oscar viewing party in my room!" he captioned the image. "PS, my husband [Michael Turchin] is amazing. It is so nice to have a partner in crime in these situations. #OscarViewingParty."

Fans were nothing but supportive in the comments section and offered well wishes for a speedy recovery.

"Glad you got that taken care of, get lots of rest and try not to laugh," one user wrote.

"I hope you feel better soon. Your pups are probably ecstatic to have their daddy come home," another agreed.

A third chimed in with, "Sorry to hear about your stomach pains and on Oscar night of all days! Still good Michael is there with you though, it makes the situation easier to deal with, at least."

Lance didn't appear to be missing out too much, and was still able to tweet along as the night's events took place.

"YES!!! #Moonlight was definitely the best picture of the year! #Oscars," he wrote.

At least his didn't have to miss his former NSYNC bandmate Justin Timberlake kill his opening act!
