Ariana Grande Trolls Kylie Jenner Over Her Singing Voice in ‘Rise and Shine’
Here for it! Kylie Jenner got a lot of attention for her song “Rise and Shine” that she sings to wake up her daughter, Stormi Webster, — including from Ariana Grande. The songstress reached out to ask if she could “sample” the little jingle and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians starlet only had one condition.
“Yes, yes you can [Ariana Grande],” the 22-year-old wrote on her Instagram Story in response to Ari’s video — which was a small clip of her singing “Rise and Shine.” Then, the reality starlet stated her request: “As long as I’m in the music video,” she added. Um, yes, please! Fans got a glimpse of Kylie’s special song during a tour of her Kylie Cosmetics office on YouTube that included a special appearance by the 20-month-old.
It’s no secret that the “7 Rings” artist, 26, is the queen of amazing videos. Whether it’s shooting hearts out of her chest in the “Boyfriend” music video or reenacting Mean Girls in “thank u, next” — she knows what fans want to see. If she were to collab with the billionaire, we have a feeling it would be truly epic.
It seems like Kylie has been living her best life lately and focusing on herself and Stormi on the heels of her split from her baby daddy, Travis Scott. It was revealed that the couple decided to go “on a break” earlier this month and the makeup mogul later tweeted about their “friendship.”
An insider dished to Us Weekly that the exes still have lots of chemistry but their lives were just going in different directions. “They are very, very in love, but she’s 22, and her whole life is Stormi and her business and her family,” the source explained. “She’s not wanting to be a normal rapper’s wife. He’s still young and at the recording studio late. She usually goes to bed early. They have different lifestyles.”
In addition, the insider noted that another source of contention was because Kylie “wanted to have a second baby” but Travis “did not.” That’s not to say the “Sicko Mode” rapper, 28, doesn’t adore fatherhood. He recently gushed to GQ Germany on October 10 about how powerful his daughter makes him feel.
“Stormi is like a battery, which has given me tremendous energy,” said Travis in the interview, which we translated from German. “[She] showed me so many things that I did not [get before]. Many things in life I only noticed when my daughter was born. [Fatherhood] is the most impressive thing that ever happened to me. Really.”
We don’t know what the future holds for Kylie and Travis … but, we’ll keep our fingers crossed that the starlet makes beautiful music with Ari.
