Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian Wish Caitlyn Jenner a Happy 70th Birthday Amid Family Rift

The big 7-0! Caitlyn Jenner celebrated her 70th birthday on Monday, October 28, and received a few well-wishes from her daughter Kylie Jenner and her estranged stepchildren — including Kim Kardashian.

“Happy 70th Birthday @caitlynJenner. I love you forever,” Kim, 39, wrote on a photo of her and the birthday girl on her Instagram Story. The two are pictured cuddling up and serving looks in the snap.

Kylie, 22, added a photo of her dad to her Instagram Story as well. “Happy Birthday @CaitlynJenner. I’m so proud of everything you are and all you’ve accomplished,” wrote the Kylie Cosmetics mogul. “A real-life superhero, I love you,” she added. In the pic, Kylie and sister Kendall Jenner are photographed smiling for the camera with their proud papa. Ky made the snap extra festive and added a party hat on the lady of the hour.

Kim and Kylie were the only kids in the fam to celebrate Cait’s birthday on social media. Although the rest of her rowdy crew may not have posted sentiments to their Stories, Caitlyn posted a photo boasting about all the lovely presents she received for her big day — so we can only assume that the rest of the clan made sure to send their love via snail mail. “Birthday today! So blessed to have so much love in my life from family and friends,” Caitlyn captioned a photo of her posing by several beautiful flower arrangements fit for a Kardashian. In her Story, she shows us the stunning displays of affection from Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall, Kylie and Kim.

“Happy Birthday!” daughter Kourtney, 40, commented on the pic, in addition the Olympian’s many famous friends. “Love you, babe,” wrote Caitlyn’s girlfriend Sophia Hutchins, while Gigi Gorgeous added, “Happy birthday, gorgeous.”

Although Caitlyn received a few acknowledgements from her famous family, it seems like she did not warrant herself an artful Kardashian-style cake due to their falling out in 2017 after the release of her memoir The Secrets of My Life. The Kardashians were angered by Kris Jenner’s portrayal in the book and soon broke ties with their former patriarch. The lovely flowers Caitlyn received might be their version of an olive branch. It looks like they are at least on good terms and respect their longstanding relationship.
