Kylie Jenner Says Jordyn Woods Was Her ‘Security Blanket’: I ‘Needed to Grow Without Her’

Life after Jordyn Woods doesn’t seem like such a scary concept to Kylie Jenner anymore. The 21-year-old makeup mogul revealed to big sis Khloé Kardashian that she’s excited “to grow” without her former BFF in a brand new sneak peek clip from KUWTK season 17.

“I think that this whole Jordyn situation needed to happen for a reason,” Kylie told her sister, 35, at a lunch. “For me, for her, for you, for everybody.”

“She was my security blanket. She lived with me. We did everything together, I just felt like, ‘Oh, I have Jordyn. I don’t need anything else,'” the brunette beauty continued about the seemingly codependent relationship. “And I felt that there was a part of me that needed to grow without her. Sometimes people are there for certain reasons at certain times in your life and then not there for others.”

Khloé had nothing but praise for her baby sister, explaining how much she admired the way Kylie went about the traumatic experience surrounding the cheating scandal with her former pal and Tristan Thompson.

“I really respect in you that you’re really good at being calm even when you probably do want to scream at someone,” the Revenge Body host said. “I think it’s just cause you’re so confident and so secure in who you are, which is so wonderful, and it’s such a really inspiring trait that you have.”

Kylie explained that her “inspiring trait” was just a by-product of her supportive family. “I just feel we’re all so lucky to have each other because I feel like a lot of the reason why I am the way I am is because of you guys,” she revealed.

“Everything’s supposed to happen for a reason,” Khlo reasoned at the end of the clip. “I feel like this is the season to filter through the bulls—t. And you know, only the strong and loyal will survive.”
