Rob Kardashian’s world was rocked in December when he was hospitalized and diagnosed with diabetes — and now his mother, Kris Jenner, is providing further insight regarding the 28-year-old’s health.
"It's one thing to say, 'Oh, I'm going to get on the healthy path,' but then you really need to get on the healthy path. He's such a perfectionist. It's a big challenge for him now to turn all that around, but he can, and that's the good news. He can turn it around and be in a much healthier place,” the 60-year-old tells Access Hollywood.

The “momager” also says Rob’s diagnosis was "almost a relief" and "like a godsend" because it served as a much-needed wake-up call.
This comes shortly after an insider told Life & Style the star was "eating himself to death" prior to his hospitalization. NYC-based nutritionist Charles Passler — who has not treated the former reality star — told Life & Style, “If Rob doesn’t change his habits and stop overeating, he’s going to have heart attacks, kidney failure, eye problems and more."
He added, “Yes, you can die from diabetes.”

Despite a potentially fatal prognosis, Kris seems optimistic that Rob is on the right track — just last week, the former talk show host revealed his desire to return to the family's E! reality series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians!
"He wants to still come back and shoot the show, he just wants to feel good. It's not that he doesn't want to be on the show, it's just he wasn't feeling good,” she said.
Keep fighting the good fight, Rob!
