Kim Kardashian, Who? Kris Humphries ‘Is in a Really Good Place’ and ‘Focusing on His Food Franchise’
Throwback! Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ short-lived marriage (72 days, to be exact) feels like a distant memory, but it looks like the former NBA player is up to bigger and better things years after their split.
“Kris Humphries is in a really good place,” a source tells In Touch exclusively. “These days he tends to shun the spotlight for a more low-key life and is focusing on his food franchise – Crisp and Green.” According to the insider, Kris is “extremely business-minded and making a fortune” working on his new gig.
“Kris is really passionate about food. He’s a great cook and his favorite dish is fresh pasta,” the source added. Although the athlete has moved on to his new culinary adventure, we will never forget his short stint in the Kardashian family.
Kim, 39, and Kris, 34, had a whirlwind romance starting in December 2010. The pair were engaged just five months later and wed in August 2011. Following their split, the KKW Beauty mogul later admitted on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that she knew their marriage wasn’t going to last while on their honeymoon. “At the time, I just thought, ‘Holy s—t, I’m 30 years old. I better get this together. I better get married,’” she said. “I think a lot of girls do go through that, where they freak out thinking they’re getting old and all of their friends are having kids. So, it was more of that situation.”
Recently, Kanye West, 42, made light of the situation on an episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden on Monday, October 28. “No one ever thought it would be uncool to marry Kim Kardashian,” James said as the two were chatting about the rapper’s marriage. “Well, not Kris Humphries,” Kanye jokingly clapped back. “It’s more than cool as hell or something. It’s heavenly, it’s great, it’s magnificent and God is using me as a human being, you know. As humbly as I can put it, he is using me to show off,” he gushed.
Although there was only room for one Kris in the Kar-Jenner family, we are happy to see the hunk is doing well.
