Kourtney Kardashian Gets Backlash From Fans for Holding Cigarette in Since-Deleted Instagram Pics
It seems many of Kourtney Kardashian‘s friends missed her latest memo. The stunning reality star took to Instagram on Monday, July 2 to share a new photo of herself holding a cigarette, but it was the writing on her button-up shirt that a lot of her followers seemed to have looked past considering the major backlash she received afterward.
“Caption on my shirt ?,” she wrote alongside the three since-deleted photos of the top that had the phrase “no smoking” written all over it. Fans immediately took to the comments to express their dismay.
“She doesn’t even eat anything with gluten in it and y’all think she would really smoke cigarettes?” one fan wrote. Another added, “Don’t smoke… you are beautiful.” One shared, “If you don’t smoke why take a pic with a cigarette?? You think it looks cool? Great example to your kids??? You don’t eat gluten but promote cigarettes? Dumb move for an otherwise responsible mom.” Another wrote, “Put the cigarette down, they are bad for you.”
And those who picked up on the shirt’s meaning also weren’t thrilled. “Kourtney not promoting the message you want — you’re smiling while holding a cig. This is stupid. So is the shirt,” one said. Another added, “So why do you have it in your hand? For looks? Cause it’s “coooool?” Kourt was clearly unhappy with all the hate, so she quickly deleted the photo from her social media account.
Over the past few days, Kourt has been enjoying a romantic vacation with her boyfriend, Younes Bendjima. She’s been sharing pics of herself and of the two in Italy, and quite honestly, we’re so jealous of their trip. If one thing is for sure, though, we likely won’t get a pic of the mom-of-three smoking a cigarette over espresso at a European coffee shop now…
