Scott Disick ‘Depends on’ Ex Kourtney Kardashian ‘for Support’: ‘She Likes to Care for Him’
An unbreakable bond. Scott Disick has been “leaning on” ex Kourtney Kardashian “more and more” since his brief rehab stay, a source exclusively tells Life & Style. “Their dynamic is that she likes to care for him and he depends on her for support.”
In late April, the Talentless founder, 37, checked himself into a Colorado treatment facility to deal with emotional issues related to the deaths of his parents. Scott’s mother, Bonnie Disick, died in 2013 and his father, Jeffrey Disick, passed away months later.
The longtime Keeping Up With the Kardashians star stayed in treatment for less than a week before returning home to Los Angeles. Since then, he and Kourtney have “spent most of the summer together playing house” with their three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, adds the insider.
Scott and the Poosh.com founder, 41, are hardly keeping their outings a secret. The former flames are constantly posting photos and videos on social media from their various trips. According to the source, Kourtney and Scott have stayed together in Malibu with the kids, as well as vacationed to Santa Barbara, Montecito and a handful of other locations outside of California. Beyond that, the pair have gone on solo “dinner dates.”
Scott and Kourtney are spending more time together after the Flip It Like Disick producer seemingly called it quits for good with on-again, off-again girlfriend Sofia Richie. “They were very happy together but Sofia could not handle his issues,” says the insider. “They were never cut out for the long term because he has too much baggage and has trouble opening up to anyone besides Kourtney. When he gets low, Kourtney is the only person he can turn to. It’s been a very strange back and forth between Sofia and Kourtney.”
Life & Style confirmed Scott and Sofia’s initial split in May. However, the two later reconciled in July. At the time, a separate source said they were “giving love another shot” and “keeping it on the down-low before making it official.” On August 19, Us Weekly reported that they’re “spending time apart” again.
