No bad blood here? On Monday, March 25, Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to squash speculation that she and world-famous supermodel Naomi Campbell have beef. “Naomi forever,” the KUWTK star, 38, captioned a series of photos from when she and hubby Kanye West attended Chance the Rapper’s wedding.

What does that have to do with Miss Campbell, you ask? Well, as it happens, the vintage Versace gown Kim rocked was first worn by Naomi on the runway, 48, in 1996. The dress has become so legendary, in fact, that it was chosen for Naomi’s wax figure — as seen below.

To make matters worse, that was hardly the first time that Kim seemingly jacked Naomi’s style. On March 9, the soon-to-be mother-of-four shared a picture of herself wearing a leopard print Alaïa jumpsuit — the likes of which Naomi also wore in the ‘90s. Between those two instances, as well as Kylie Jenner wearing one of Naomi’s classic looks, fans couldn’t help but call Kim out.

“When you gonna credit Naomi, sis?” one user commented on Instagram. “Maybe you should finally acknowledge Naomi,” echoed another. A handful of fans were particularly bothered by Kim’s choice of hairstyle. Although the KKW Beauty Mogul mimicked Naomi’s 1996 Versace look to a tee, it’s unlikely that Kim’s hair is naturally textured or kinky.

Therefore, a lot of people commented that she was “culturally appropriating” Naomi’s locks. “Kinky straight is textured hair … also, this is a look stolen straight from Naomi Campbell, like a number of Kim’s looks,” one person wrote. “She really copied the hair, too?? It’s KINKY,” another added.

Kim has addressed her love of crimped hair and apparently, doesn’t see the difference between her ‘do and Naomi’s. As it stands, Naomi has yet to comment on how she feels about the Kar-Jenners, er, borrowing her vibe. Either way, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? Keep being the powerful icon you are, Naomi.
