In Touch has learned that just moments before Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's May 24 wedding ceremony at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, Kim’s $500,000 Givenchy gown, designed by Riccardo Tisci, had ripped.

"Just before the wedding was about to begin, you could hear loud screeches and screams from back in a private area,” an insider exclusively says in the new issue of In Touch. “[Kim] literally was screaming bloody murder.

“She said ‘OMG, my dress is torn,’” the insider details, adding that she “kept her dress on and someone had to rush and hand-sew her back into it.”

Despite the meltdown, Kim walked down the aisle in the skintight white lace couture gown, but “changed into a short Balmain white dress for dinner,” immediately following the ceremony, the insider explains.
