The hopeful lawyer is in the building — and she’s got a new haircut! Kim Kardashian stopped by to meet with a new client at the San Quentin State Prison in California on May 30 and she rocked her new bob hairdo. Not gonna lie, if the 38-year-old mama keeps having legal meetings in such a fashionable state, we might have to dethrone Elle Woods. The stylish legal apprentice approached the jail in an all-black jumpsuit, but her cute new haircut definitely took center stage.
She explained details about her new client’s case in a post on Twitter. “I had an emotional meeting with Kevin Cooper yesterday at San Quentin’s death row. I found him to be thoughtful and honest and I believe he is innocent of the crimes for which he was convicted,” she wrote. “I am hopeful that Kevin will be exonerated since DNA testing has now been ordered on Kevin’s case and I remain grateful to Governor Newsom for ending capital punishment in California.”

Kim announced her decision to take the bar exam in 2022 in her May cover story interview for Vogue, where she revealed she had begun a four-year apprenticeship last summer.

The law firm she has been working with is San Francisco-based, so the KUWTK star travels between cities regularly as she works on a national bipartisan advocacy group for criminal justice reform with well-known lawyers and activists.

“It’s never one person who gets things done,” Kim said to the outlet. “It’s always a collective of people, and I’ve always known my role, but I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society.”
