She's defending her man! Kim Kardashian uses leaves the beefing to her husband Kanye West, but every now and then she will insert herself and shut everything down in the process — like when she put Taylor Swift on blast over the lyrics to "Famous" back in 2016. On Saturday, May 26, Kim took to Twitter to slam Kanye's former friend and collaborator, Chicago songwriter Che "Rhymefest" Smith, for accusing Kanye of "abandoning" the city that he loves so much.

"[You] haven’t been right since [you] got kicked out of the studio in Hawaii wearing fake Yeezy’s," Kim tweeted. "You’re over leveraging Kanye’s name [and] asked Kanye to donate money to [you] so stop [with] your fake community politics [and] lies. Truth is you haven’t been able to sustain the foundation."

Rhymefest had worked with Kanye on some of his iconic hits like "Jesus Walks" and "New Slaves," and he also helps run the Donda's House nonprofit organization that helps with arts and music funding for youth in the Chicago community, named after Kanye's late mother Donda West. Kim seemed to be upset that Rhymefest was asking other artists for money to run the organization, and he also tweeted that when he asked Kanye for money, Kanye allegedly responded, "f–k the youth of Chicago," which didn't sit well with Kim.

"You better believe I will make it my mission to take Donda’s House from you and let my children run it the way it should be run," Kim continued, and then ended her rant with a jab at Rhymefest. "Sorry to all of my followers for flooding my timeline I know you have no idea who Rhymefest is."

In response to Kim's rant, Rhymefest shared a message from the Donda's House official Twitter account and announced that the nonprofit would be dissolved. "Due to recent events that have occurred over the last 48 hours, we have decided to no longer use the name Donda’s House Inc," the statement read. "This has been an incredibly difficult decision but the social media quotes from Kim Kardashian West, as well as the expressed interest of her family running the organization, has brought us to this decision."
