Kim Kardashian Throws A “Tea for Three”-Themed Baby Shower for Baby No. 3!
It’s a tea for three! Kim Kardashian finally confirmed that she is expecting baby No. 3 via a surrogate with her husband Kanye West back in September, and now that their little one’s due date is quickly approaching, they decided to celebrate their unborn child’s upcoming arrival with a beautiful, cherry blossom-themed baby shower. So pretty! Of course, Kim’s famous friends family showed up to celebrate, so the baby shower was a star-studded event. Kim’s sisters Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Khloé Kardashian were in attendance, as well as model Chrissy Teigen, celeb hair stylist Jen Atkin, and celeb eyebrow artist Anastasia Soare.
The theme was very pink, which may be hinting that the reports are true and baby No. 3 will be a girl! Kim and Kanye are already parents to four-year-old daughter North West and 23-month-old son Saint West, and while Kim and Kanye were ready to expand their family, Kim was not able to conceive or carry a child naturally — because she struggled with infertility in the past and also suffered from preeclampsia and placenta accreta with her first pregnancy. Because of those complications, it would not have been wise for Kim’s health or the health of her unborn child to try to conceive and carry again.
“If the two doctors that I trust have told me it wouldn’t be safe for me to get pregnant again, I have to listen to that,” Kim revealed last season. “But because I don’t know anyone that has been a surrogate or used one, I didn’t really think about that as an option for me.”
But everything worked out, and she confirmed that they would be using a surrogate for baby No. 3 in the trailer for Season 14 of the family’s hit E! reality TV series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
