Eyewitnesses told In Touch that both women were spotted dining at New York hotspot Carbone on Nov. 18. Despite Kanye’s comments last month about Kim being “more influential” than the first lady, the source revealed to In Touch that it was Michelle—not Kim—who was attracting the attention!
“Kim Kardashian dined with a male friend and a female friend,” the eyewitness said. “She actually managed to keep under the radar partly because Michelle Obama was getting all the attention.”
Another on-looker added that, “Some of the staff [at Carbone] didn’t even realize Kim was there and seemed surprised when I asked about her.”
Kanye’s most recent comments came over the weekend when he told Philadelphia radio station Hot 107.9 he believed that the President used him following the now-infamous Taylor Swift ordeal at the 2009 MTV VMAs. The rapper explained that when Obama called him “a jackass,” he was using him as a scapegoat.
The Yeezus rapper told the radio station that he was “everyone’s punching bag,” so if one person said they hated Kanye, people would quickly jump on the bandwagon. Kanye claimed that “was [his] position in culture,” and the President used it for personal advantage.
North West’s dad vowed to stop talking about the President—and urged him to do the same.
“I think he shouldn’t mention my baby mama’s name, because [we’re] both from Chicago,” Kanye said. “But no, I’m not gonna mention him no more, I’m past that.”
