Khloé Kardashian is expecting her second child with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson via surrogate, her representative tells Life & Style.

“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family,” the rep said in a statement.

The birth of the child is “imminent,” TMZ reported on Wednesday, July 13. Khloé and Tristan already share a 4-year-old daughter, True Thompson.

The news of baby No. 2 for Khloé comes seven months after personal trainer Maralee Nichols gave birth to the NBA star’s third child, a son named Theo, in December 2021.  While Tristan initially denied he was the father, he later confirmed that a paternity test proved he was the baby’s dad. Maralee became pregnant in March 2021 when Tristan was still together with Khloé.

The Good American founder and the athlete picked the surrogate for their second child together before news of his cheating scandal broke, an insider tells Life & Style.

In addition to True and Theo, Tristan is also father to son Prince, whom he shares with ex Jordan Craig.

It’s no secret the longtime Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and the professional basketball player have had a roller-coaster relationship. Since getting together in July 2016, Khloé and Tristan have called it quits three times.

Unfortunately, all of their breakups followed major cheating scandals. Most notably, the NBA star hooked up with Kylie Jenner‘s ex-best friend Jordyn Woods in February 2019. That said, Khloé never gave up on Tristan. “They’ve gotten over their issues and have come out stronger than ever,” an insider previously told In Touch.

At the time, the rest of the Kar-Jenner family was on board with Khloé and Tristan’s reconciliation. “He made mistakes, but I feel like he’s trying really hard,” Scott Disick reasoned with Kim Kardashian during a June 2020 episode of KUWTK. “He’s really trying really hard,” the KKW Beauty mogul agreed. “And it’s been like a full year of him as a different person.”

Ultimately, Scott understood Tristan’s predicament because of his past with ex Kourtney Kardashian. “To be in that place and feel like everybody in the family that he just had a kid with hates him would be, like, a horrible feeling,” the Talentless founder explained. “I think it was the right thing to do. No matter what, he’s still within the family.”

Even when Tristan and Khloé were on the outs, the Good American founder made it clear she will always put her children first. “It would be easier for me to keep my daughter away and be like, ‘No, because you hurt me, but he never hurt True,’” Khloé said during an October 2019 episode of the “On Purpose With Jay Shetty” podcast. “[Tristan] and I have our own relationship, and then Tristan and True have theirs. I will never come in between that. I don’t believe in that.”

Following their latest split, Khloé has moved on and is dating a private equity investor.

“After a ton of soul searching and therapy, Khloé has stopped letting the past rule her future and says she’s finally in a great place,” a source told In Touch of her new romance. “Being in a relationship with Tristan was one big learning curve for Khloé. She had True out of the relationship, so has no regrets about that. It has taken some time, but she’s overcome the cheating and pain he put her through and is ready to trust and love again.”
