Kendra Wilkinson Addresses Fans’ Comments About Her Weight Gain and Aging: ‘Leave Me Alone’

Kendra Wilkinson maintained her confidence while addressing negative comments she’s received from trolls who have criticized her appearance.

“Yes, I’ve gained weight. Yes, I’m aging. Yes, I’m not that girl i was before (playboy girl) but for once in a long time I feel good and mentally healthy. Kids are my everything,” the Girls Next Door alum, 39, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, January 12. “Feeling pretty balanced. Working out and cooking a lot more. Golf, work. No housekeeper or nanny.”

Kendra continued to call out the critics “hating on [her] new weight [and] 40 year old face,” and let them know that she is “happy, healthy and at peace in life finally.”

“Leave me alone and respect that I’m where I actually want to be finally all together,” she continued. “Almost 40 is feeling amazing and yes to the people criticizing my alcohol intake … I hear you and that will be monitored better. Drinking too much is definitely drinking too much but you know what’s coming up in JUNE … Shots. Love ya.”

Kendra paired her message with a full-body mirror photo and video after seemingly finishing a workout. The former model wore black leggings and a white tank top with a scoop neck that exposed her black sports bra while posing in front of a large mirror inside a luxurious public bathroom.

Fellow women and stars shared their thoughtful words of encouragement and support to Kendra in the comments section of the post.

“Anyone that’s remotely successful in their life doesn’t have time to tear another person down. Remember that shug,” country star Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunny XO, commented.

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi beamed at how “amazing” Kendra looked and told her to “screw the haters!”

One week prior, Kendra opened up to her fans and shared that she rang in the first week of 2025 by roadmapping life changes. In a series of Instagram photos, the real estate agent and friend Michelle Lacey posed in their swimsuits during a pool day and enjoyed their beachside views.

“This week has been about letting go and appreciating life. Setting some realistic goals. Resetting my mind, body and soul,” Kendra captioned the January 6 post. “I appreciate my kids and friends so much and so grateful for my job and all the good people around me.”

Kendra shares kids Henry Randall “Hank” Baskett IV and Alijah Mary Baskett with ex-husband Hank Bassett. They were married between 2009 and 2018.

The Sliding Into Home author concluded her message by revealing she was going to start “watching [her] alcohol intake these next months” while looking forward to her 40th birthday in June and “maybe meet[ing] the love of [her] life.”

Speaking of Kendra’s dating life, the reality star previously admitted she had “boo things scattered all over L.A.” but they weren’t fulfilling her needs.

“I need a little bit of a level-up now. Just because I have a little sex every now and then, doesn’t make them more than that,” she told People in November 2024. “So, I am looking for a little bit more than that now. So, I’m definitely ready now.”
