The early 2000s were a great time for reality shows — and some of our favorites revolved around famous families!

From Hogan Knows Best and Growing Up Gotti to Keeping Up With the Kardashians, these shows basically ruled the small screen. And whether or not the series are still airing, these famous fams have really changed over the years!

Growing Up Gotti

Growing Up Gotti followed the life of Victoria Gotti — the daughter of Mafia boss John Gotti — and her three sons, Carmine Angello, Jr., John Gotti Angello, and Frank Gotti Angello. The show aired for three seasons from 2004 until 2005. We’re glad to see the boys got new ‘dos!

Jon and Kate Plus 8

Now just titled Kate Plus 8, this famous fam has been on the air since 2007. Since Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin’s messy divorce in 2009, the show has changed to focus on Kate’s life as a single mom raising eight kids. The couple's sextuplets are now 12-years-old and the twins are 16! New episodes of the hit show still air on TLC.

Hogan Knows Best

This epic show centered around Hulk Hogan and his family and aired from 2005 until 2007. This series helped bring daughter Brooke Hogan to fame and after the show wrapped, she got her own spin-off, Brooke Knows Best, which ran from 2008 until 2009. Shortly after the show ended, Hulk and wife Linda Hogan divorced and the fam is now rarely seen all together.

The Osbournes

From 2002 until 2005, the Osbourne family totally ruled the small screen. Heavy metal musician Ozzy Osbourne brought two of his kids, Jack Osbourne and Kelly Osbourne, and his wife, Sharon Osbourne, into the spotlight — and their crazy antics were the source of major entertainment.

Gastineau Girls

Before the Kardashians, there were the Gastineau Girls! Following NFL star Mark Gastineau’s ex-wife Lisa Gastineau and their daughter, Brittny Gastineau, this show gave fans an inside look at what lavish starlets’ lives were really like. It only lasted for one year — from 2005 until 2006 — but it’s definitely a classic E! reality show!

Run’s House

Lasting from 2005 until 2009, this show revolved around Rev Run — former Run-D.M.C rapper — and his family. They were everyone’s favorite early 2000s fam and his six kids really have grown up over the years!

Keeping Up With the Kardashians

Since 2007, the Kardashians have been a staple in pop culture — and it all started with their hit E! show Keeping Up With the Kardashians! Still airing to this day, KUWTK is probably one of the biggest shows to come out of E!. It has also inspired endless spin-offs including Dash Dolls, Rob and Chyna, and Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, just to name a few!
