Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant Are ‘Madly in Love’: They Are ‘Such a Good Match’

Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant were spotted packing on the PDA in London over a boozy lunch in early April – and a source exclusively tells In Touch that they’re having the time of their lives whilst touring the world and spoiling themselves rotten. In fact, the insider says their friends are expecting a wedding announcement sooner rather than later.

“They guard their privacy obsessively, so they didn’t announce their engagement, but they are very much engaged and have been for some time,” the source tells In Touch. “The wedding has been put off multiple times but there’s no doubt it will happen, they’re madly in love and such a good match.”

According to the insider, Alexandra, 52, “balances him out and brings him a lot of calm.”

“The really beautiful thing about their relationship is they are truly best friends. There is no one Keanu would rather spend time with than Alexandra,” the source continues. “This day out in London is the perfect example, the fact that they can still go to a pub and cut loose together and have so much fun says a lot about how solid they are.”

The insider adds that “there have been questions” about their relationship “just because they’ve put off the wedding a couple of times, but it’s had nothing to do with their commitment to each other, it all came down to schedule conflicts.”

“The planning has been a big stumbling block so it wouldn’t shock anyone if they were to elope and cut out all the fuss,” the source says.

Keanu, 60, and Alexandra first met at a dinner party in 2009. They became friends and began a professional relationship. When Keanu wrote his first poetry book, Ode to Happiness, in 2011, he enlisted the help of Alexandra to paint the illustrations. The pair went on to release their second book together, Shadows, in 2015, and they established their publishing company X Artists Books in 2017.

After years of friendship, Keanu and Alexandra officially started dating in the summer of 2017. However, they did not confirm their romance until they made their red carpet debut at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in November 2019.

While Keanu and Alexandra have chosen to keep details of their relationship out of the spotlight, a source previously told In Touch in April 2024 that they were dreaming up their perfect wedding together.

“Keanu and Alexandra were friends for many years before their relationship turned romantic, and it feels like the right time to make a commitment to each other,” the insider exclusively told In Touch at the time. “They’re not doing this for anybody but themselves. They’re soulmates and they want to spend the rest of their lives together.”

The source added that the couple agreed that their wedding should be fuss-free.

“It wouldn’t be like Keanu and Alexandra to book a fancy venue and have a big party,” the insider said. “They want a quiet, simple ceremony with their closest friends and family, and why not do it in their own backyard? It’s the perfect place.”

When it comes to their guest list, the insider said the couple wants to keep the number small. However, Keanu’s close friends Sandra Bullock and Alex Winter will inevitably make the list. “Keanu is very close to Sandra, and he and Alex are best buds,” the insider shared.
