Fancy seeing you two there! Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise have been unknowingly promoting a new cafe in south-east London, after a throwback photo of the duo was photoshopped onto one of Slade Café’s adverts. In the snap, the actress and her daughter are all smiles while walking together.

Katie, 39, and Suri, 12, were featured in a CGI image on a billboard in Plumstead Common, however the superimposed photo was actually taken in New York in 2012. “I walk past every morning on my way to work. You wouldn’t expect to see that on the billboard advertising a new cafe. It’s just funny — I thought it was maybe the architect having fun,” a local told Evening Standard. Project architects allegedly claimed the CGI was created by someone who has now left the firm, so they’re not sure how it was used. The actress has been made aware of the advert, but has yet to comment.

Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time Katie’s image has been used for promotion purposes. Last year, the same picture with Suri was photoshopped on an advert for flats in Croydon and that also allegedly had to do with a different architect. Despite all of this, Katie has been staying busy with her home and work life, as she recently signed on to star in the horror sequel The Boy 2. Suri has been living with Katie full-time ever since the actress’ split with ex-husband Tom Cruise in 2012. And now, the actor reportedly wants to play a bigger role in her life going forward.

Tom, 56, has allegedly reached out to Katie in the hopes of rebuilding their relationship. “Tom’s been in contact with Suri more and more over the last few months and has made it clear that he wants to be part of her life again,” a source told Grazia UK. “He’s been sending her gifts and writing her letters in a bid to try and reconnect with his daughter all of which have been working.”
