Katie Holmes Makes Rare Appearance At Z100’s Jingle Ball With Daughter Suri Cruise

She’s not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom! Actress Katie Holmes is definitely the type of celebrity who liked to remain under the radar, but every now and then she steps out and she always does it with style. Katie made a rare appearance at Z100’s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden in NYC on Friday, Dec. 7, and the Dawson’s Creek alum looked chic and stylish as she chaperoned the fun outing with her daughter Suri Cruise and a couple of Suri’s friends.

The mom-of-one wore a black lace top with sheer, billowy sleeves and she paired it with white jeans and snakeskin boots. Katie, 39, acted as a chaperone for her daughter Suri, 12, who looked happy as she and a few of her friend received the VIP treatment at the holiday concert, according to the Daily Mail.

At one point during the concert, Katie took the stage to present one of the night’s many performers. At last year’s Jingle Ball, Katie and Suri took the stage together to introduce Taylor Swift before her performance, but this year Katie took to the stage solo.

Katie, 39, returned to NYC with Suri for the holiday concert, which was a bit of a homecoming trip for the actress. Katie has been spending a lot of her time recently in New Orleans filming for her upcoming movie The Secret, and while she’s not on set, the Hollywood star has been spotted out and about with her longtime partner, actor Jamie Foxx, who is also working on a filming project in New Orleans.

Just two days before Katie and Suri made a mommy-daughter appearance at Jingle Ball, Katie was spotted out with Jamie and the couple was even wearing matching jackets. And In Touch previously reported that Katie and Jamie, 50, are now living together at their new New Orleans home.
