Fashionista! Actress Katie Holmes has really been stepping up her style game recently, and she was spotted serving up some ~fall vibes~ during New York Fashion Week 2019. The Dawson’s Creek alum attended the Elie Tahari Spring 2020 Runway Show in NYC on Thursday, September 5, and she looked chic in a casual, layered look that’s perfect for the chilly weather. The 40-year-old looked warm and cozy and chic in her layered outfit. She wore a white T-shirt underneath a light blue denim button-down, leaving the buttons open for a pop of white. Then she layered that with a white oversized cardigan. She paired the look with black leather pants, black ankle boots and a pair of black oversized sunglasses.

It seems like she’s got a packed NYFW schedule. She also attended the Zimmermann Dinner and Store party during New York Fashion Week on Wednesday, September 4.

Keeping busy and looking great might be the perfect way to get over her recent breakup! As In Touch previously reported, Katie and her longtime boyfriend, actor Jamie Foxx, split last month.

“Jamie and Katie have been arguing nonstop over his partying. For months he’s been promising to calm his wild ways, but nothing’s changed and she’s finally come to the conclusion that she wants to be with a guy who’s more mature and ready to settle down,” an insider told In Touch exclusively at the time. “She also can’t keep an eye on him when he’s in LA and is fed up with doing the whole long-distance thing so gave him an ultimatum — either move to NY or it’s over! He refuses to leave his hometown so she called it a day.”
