Beauty queens! Kate Gosselin couldn’t be more excited about her twins, Cara and Mady, reaching their milestone birthday — that’s right, they turned the big 1-8. Taking to Instagram, the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star shared a gorgeous new photo of her daughters! 

“My adult daughters: @mady.gosselin and @cara.gosselin (FYI: these are their ONLY official IG accounts) #SoProud What a fun memory filled day we had together today,” the 43-year-old captioned her post on Oct. 9. Kate went the extra mile while ringing in the special occasion, treating the girls to a sprinkle-covered cake, customized M&Ms, as well as themed plates and napkins. “There are no words to describe how proud I am of you both,” Kate gushed. “Despite the many turbulent times you’ve had to deal with so far in life, you have emerged as wise, level-headed, reasonable, forgiving, loving, kind and absolutely brilliant ADULTS!”

“I can say that I’ve poured endless love into you and fought tooth and nail for the best for you, but I cannot possibly take credit for the truly wonderful humans (adult humans!) you have become,” Kate continued her heartfelt post. “You will thrive in life, I am certain, and I will still be with you every step of the way going forward, continuing to guide you and love you. I love you both so very very much and I wish peace, happiness and the great successes I know are coming your way!” 

Mady and Cara’s estranged dad, Jon Gosselin, also sent a sweet birthday message via Instagram. “Happy 18 birthday!!! To my twin girls, Mady & Cara!!! Love, Dad,” he wrote. As we previously reported, the twins discussed their strained relationship with their father, 41, back in August 2016, revealing they weren’t speaking. On the plus side, it looks like the girls are doing well these days. “I’d like to think that adulthood suits us well so far,” Mady captioned the new photo of them holding up gold balloons. They are growing up so fast!
