Kate Gosselin Says Her Kids Can’t Stop Teasing Her Behind the Scenes of ‘Kate Plus Date’ — ‘You’re a Mess!’
The world’s most relatable TV mom takes the heat from her kids, too! In a recent Instagram post, Kate Gosselin reveals that her eight kids can’t help but tease her and her new dating venture.
Kate’s kids have been known to get on her back for her lack of sports interest, or anything physical for that matter. On her new dating show, Kate Plus Date, matchmakers insist that the reality star, 44, give “active” dates a try. Just the thought of Kate breaking a sweat makes her brood chuckle.
Kate took to Instagram to show the “cool” magnet board from her pre-date ‘coffee talk’ on the show, but made sure to fill us in on what her kids think of her going on sporty dates.
“My kids just said about my ‘sportsy complex thing’ comment: ‘oh mother, you’re a mess!’” the reality star added in the comments section. Several fans joined in on the banter, agreeing that sports suck and so do kids … sometimes!
Due to being a mother of eight rambunctious kids, Kate put dating on the back burner since divorcing Jon Gosselin back in 2009. Together the former couple have two twin 18-year-olds, Mady and Cara, in addition to sextuplets — Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel, Aaden and Collin, 15.
Kate says her children fully supports her dating and have discussed the idea for years now. “My kids have talked about it probably, over the years, more than I have,” Kate said. “It’s a topic of dinner conversation. It’s a topic that comes up more than people probably would realize, and they want me to be happy and they don’t want me to be alone.”
Despite wanting the best for their hard-working momma, the Gosselin clan still pokes fun when they can!
