Kate Beckinsale 'Likes' That Pete Davidson Is 'Younger Than Her'

Cougar alert! Even though Kate Beckinsale is 20 years older than her new beau, Pete Davidson, it doesn’t seem to bother either of them in the slightest. Apparently, the Underworld star likes being older.

“It’s no surprise she likes Pete, 25 — he makes her laugh and she likes the fact that he’s younger than her,” a source told Us Weekly. “Kate is a lot of fun and loves embracing her youthful side. She’s always the life of the party and likes going out, dancing and hanging out around young people at hip places.”

The insider added that the brunette beauty, 45, is “very confident in her skin and is all about having a good time.”

The pair have remained coy about their fling. First, they were spotted at a Golden Globes afterparty together in January, and then on February 2, they held hands while they left Pete’s comedy show in Los Angeles. While the two haven’t officially confirmed that they are an item, they have hinted that sparks are flying.

In January 2019, the U.K. native posted a photo of her mother on Instagram, and some of her followers couldn’t help but ask about her potential new man. “Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson,” one of her fans wrote. “No, that’s my mother,” she clapped back. “Easy mistake.”

As for the comedian, when a fan yelled “Kate Beckinsale” at his Pete Davidson & Friends show at Tarrytown Music Hall in January, he “smiled sheepishly and said, ‘yes,’” a source revealed to the outlet at the time.
