Proud Mama! Kate and Jon Gosselin’s Twin Daughters Mady and Cara Graduate High School: ‘Where Did the Time Go?’

Time flies! Kate Gosselin took to Instagram on Wednesday, May 29, to share that her twin daughters, Mady and Cara, graduated from high school recently.

“#Graduation … this post is a little delayed (mostly due to post-graduation exhaustion, lol), but I’m still beaming with pride!” the 44-year-old captioned a photo of herself with her 18-year-old twins holding roses and their diplomas. “It’s hard to believe that Cara and Mady graduated from high school this past weekend … and are headed off to college in the fall! Where did the time go???? Their graduation day was such a wonderful day of celebrating THEM and all of their amazing accomplishments!”

The blonde beauty continued to gush over her two oldest daughters. “These girls are going places, and I can’t wait to see where they end up! Cara and Mady, I love you so very much, and I’m just so, so proud of YOU! #ProudMom #Graduation #ClassOf2019 #WellDone,” she wrote.

Many fans complimented the girls on their milestone. One person wrote, “Wow!!! You raised great girls! It was a pleasure to meet them and you a few years ago. Congrats to all!! Off to do wonderful things,” while another person echoed, “Wow! Congrats! What beautiful, smart, young women you have, Kate. Best wishes for their new journey in life!!” A third person chimed in, writing, “Congratulations, Cara and Mady! And congratulations Kate for getting them through it … Raising kids is hard but rewarding.”

Meanwhile, the Kate Plus Eight alum is making her return to television with her new dating show called Kate Plus Date, where she will go out with several men. “Have you noticed I’ve been single for the last decade?” she said in the trailer. “I don’t even know, like, what the rules are. Like, can somebody help me out here?”

The TV personality first appeared on TV with her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, and their eight kids — twins Mady and Cara along with 15-year-old sextuplets Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel, Aaden and Collin — over 10 years ago.

Naturally, Mady and Cara are supporting their mom in her next endeavor. “We’ve been nudging her to date for years,” Mady shared at a TCA panel in Los Angeles in February. “We’re all, eight of us, are so glad that she finally is. She deserves to be happy. Everyone deserves to be happy.”
