Last month, former reality TV star Blac Chyna asked the court for sanctions in her ongoing legal battle with the Kardashian/Jenner family. The 30-year-old filed for monetary sanctions for the costs of filing paperwork to compel Keeping Up With the Kardashians creator Ryan Seacrest to submit a deposition in the case, and now the Kardashians are fighting back. According to LA County Superior Court documents obtained by In Touch, attorneys for the Kardashians are now insisting that sanctions should be placed against Chyna and her lawyers.

According to the documents, the defendants are asking the court to deny Chyna’s motion because it was delayed and she did not ask to obtain an extension. She also did not “meet and confer” in good faith before filing her delayed motion. “Because Plantiff’s motion fails on procedural and substantive grounds, she is not entitled to an award of sanctions,” the court papers read. “To the contrary, monetary sanctions in an amount not less than $1,250 should be awarded against Plaintiff and her counsel of record The Bloom Firm based on their conduct in filing an untimely and utterly meritless motion to compel.”

For nearly two years, the model has been pushing forward in her lawsuit against the famous reality TV family. It all stems from the cancellation of the now-defunct KUWTK spinoff Rob & Chyna. The show, which documented the relationship between Chyna and Rob Kardashian before their nasty split, only aired for one season on E! Chyna accused Rob, 31, his mother Kris Jenner, and his sisters Kris JennerKim KardashianKhloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner of being the reason why the show was pulled from the air.

During a KUWTK episode that aired on April 23, 2017, a Kardashian/Jenner family meeting was held to discuss whether the show Rob & Chyna should go on even after the couple split. “Rob and Chyna are about to start filming the second season of their show and no one feels that they can fuel this bad, unhealthy energy by filming another season of their show,” Kim, 37, said in her confessional.
